Cycle of Life

Poem By Suzanne McGillivray

Life is one great cycle of continual unfolding,
In death, is birth and in birth there is death.

There is no beginning; there is no end,
For birth and death, they cross each other.

As day turns to night and winter to spring,
Cycles will always begin again.

If there is life, there’s always death.
If there’s death, there’s always life.

There is no end; there is no beginning.
For death and birth, they follow each other.

The moment we begin, we start to end,
Each time we end, we begin again.

Each season has its day, each life its end,
But be assured, it begins again.
