Poem By Suzanne McGillivray
Your words paint a picture so deep
Of magic and yearning, of mystery and burning
Of hearts set aflame, that remains the same
Through passage of time, though faces change
Time does not hold us; age does not weary us
Love does not blind us; death does not change us
Ancient bonds play out in song
The day is wide, as life is long
The mystery deep, the mountain high
The valley wide, as the ocean tide
Such things cannot hold us, or keep us asleep
For love is the union, so ancient and deep
The bond is a circle, from beginning to end
Weaving a story with you my friend
Of starlit wonder and morning glory
A truly beautiful and never ending story
